(a) Name of the veteran.
(b) Military branch/rank/unit/assignment.
(c) Age at the time of service/Age at the end of service/Years in the military.
(d) Geographic location during the Vietnam War.
(e) The veteran’s attitude toward war/government/military prior to the Vietnam
War. Was the veteran drafted?
(f) Description of the veterans’ experiences during the Vietnam War.
(g) The veteran’s attitude toward the war/government/military after the
Vietnam War.
(h) Description of any problems related to the Vietnam War: Post-Traumatic
Stress (PTSD), drugs/alcoholism, health issues (Agent Orange), divorce,
nightmares, anti-social behaviors, unable to hold a job, unable to concentrate
in school). Does the veteran use the VA hospital? Does the veteran watch
Vietnam movies?
(i) Does the veteran keep in touch with other veterans from the Vietnam War?
Has the veteran shared these experiences from the Vietnam War with his/her
family members? Has the veteran visited the Vietnam Memorial? Would the
veteran encourage his children to join the military?
