I am doin a project on veterans in the war(the story may be wrote in a local newspaper)

Hello, my name is Chris.
I am writing up on interveiw about veterans and their experiences with history and war. This interview is for a school project. If i do well on my interviews, I may have the chance to share some of the stories with viewers in my county, in the local newspaper called the "LEDGER". My interview has to have the name of the interwiewee, city and state of residence, and age.

My question is, "What are the two most historical events that happened during your life time that you remember most and why?
