History of the Vietnam War 101

How does it feel?

Rob [68.4.54.147]

It feels mixed.

I'm glad to be functionally alive.
I was upset that the Empire State Building celebrated the 60th Anniversary of Communism in Red China.

In a way I wish I hadn't lived to see that.
I mean the Cold War, the Korean War, the VN War and now
celebrating 60 years of communism in Red China? WTF over?

I never thought I'd see America in the state it's in today.
So yeah living is fun, but reality can suck.
We're actually talking about a duty to die with old folks.
Eugenics with a Czar or two. Socializing the economy (aka America).
Congress has finally shown itself as the nut organization it has been
for decades. The government is either corrupt or broke, and we
get this Greeniac crap that's totally self inflicted!

My family motto--as if I was the head of a dynasty with a modern
coat of arms would be---in Latin, if I knew the words:
Buy Guns
Buy Gold
Stay Healthy

That's because the barbarians are no longer at the gate.
They are inside the walls and reeking havoc. In other words
it feels like we lost what we won in the 20th Century. And no
one is particularly upset as it slips by. I have to ask myself
was it worth it? Well was it punk? I dunno. I coulda spent time
in Hollywood learning a trade instead of risking my life in Nam.

Whatever!
