I joined the Marine Corps at 17----Dec. 27, 1967. I was a radio operator
trained at San Diego Ca. Upon graduation I received orders for Viet Nam and
was sent there and arrived in DaNang on Sept. 16, 1968. I volunteered for
and was assigned to 3rd Recon Bn. Charley Co. Quang Tri, R.V.N as a primary
radio man in the third platoon team 1. I was wounded twice while on patrol
in the Ashua Valley and was medivaced back to the states where my wounds
were repaired and i was Retired from active service on Sept. 16,1969
