A little background: I volunteered for the Draft in 1968 and served as an Infantryman with the 82nd Airborne, US Army in the USA and served in Vietnam as Airborne Infantry with the 101st Airborne Div. in the I Corp. in 1968 and 1969.

I was a squad leader with an Infantry Company , Cobra Company 2nd Battalion of the 501st, 101st Airborne. My Fire Base was LZ Sally just north of Hue. I was there during theTet Offensive.
