I enlisted into the ARMY on April 13, 1964. I did not know about Viet Nam. Two years later I was there. After
comming home and spending almost 8 months in the hospital, I went on to be very involved in Veterans Affairs for
which I was recognized by Fox Broadcasting with the presentation of the Jefferson Award (1987) That year I was
appointed as the State Dept. Legislative Chairman of the Disabled American Veterans.
