I served with the 9th Division (C Co, 4/39th) in Viet-Nam as an Infantryman from April of 1967 to February of 1968. I spent about four (4) months in the hospital recovering from wounds and then was assigned to Fort Benning as an instructor at the Infantry School. Left the service in August of 1969.
