My dates in Nam were Sep 14,71 through Sep 15,72. I was with the 247th Med Det based out of Phan Rang and Nha Trang with satellite sites at Whiskey Mountain, Dalat, BanMeThuot, Pleiku, and Phu Hep.
The last 6 mo in country we carried almost all Korean infantry, VC, and NVA (the latter two were pows). My nick name in the military was Polar Bear--because I was from Alaska. ken
